Bandai postpones Island Jiro BIG plush launch for ChiiKawa film

Bandai announced that the Island Jiro BIG plush prize, based on the character from the movie *ChiiKawa: The Secret of the Mermaid Island*, will be released in mid‑August instead of early August due to shipping constraints. The plush measures about 43 cm tall and includes a pocketed apron that can hold a packet of shichimi pepper.

In addition, the company will begin distributing eight “Yurayura Solar” toys that react to light and sway gently. The figures, featuring characters such as ChiiKawa, a flying squirrel, and a Shisa, are about 10–12 cm tall and will be available at amusement facilities across Japan from early August. Both product lines are part of the promotional prize lineup for the same film.
