BANDAI SPIRITS rolls out several new Gundam model kits in Japan

BANDAI SPIRITS announced a series of upcoming gunpla releases for the Japanese market. The company will re‑issue the die‑cast "Super Alloy Soul" Mazinger Z KAKUMEI SHINKA (GX‑105) in December 2026, featuring upgraded joint structures, missile and rocket‑punch functions and a magnetic Hover‑Pilder accessory.

A new HG CE kit, the "G-Fu Ignited" (a Haine‑Vestenflus unit), is scheduled for retail on 11 July 2026.

On 25 July 2026, three limited‑edition RG 1/144 kits based on the video‑game shooter Apex Legends will become available at Gundam Base stores: Freedom, Wing Zero EW and Epion, each painted in colors matching the game’s characters.

Finally, reservations opened on 25 June 2026 for the MG 1/100 "Great Geong" – a four‑unit transformable robot – with shipments expected in February 2027. The model is priced at ¥35,200, excluding tax, shipping and fees.
