Japan merchandise releases: Detective Conan, Pokémon, and Toy Story 5

Various character-themed merchandise and collectibles are scheduled for release in Japan during late August 2026.

Japan Post will launch a limited collection of Detective Conan goods on August 28. Items available at approximately 4,000 post offices and via the Japan Post Net Shop include eco-bags, multi-pouches, memo stands, passbook cases, and acrylic stands featuring characters in postal worker attire.

Bandai is releasing new Gashapon capsule toy collections. The Pokémon Swing Collection Type:Grass, featuring five grass-type Pokémon such as Oddish and Leafeon, will be available starting the fifth week of August for 300 yen per play. Additionally, the Toy Story 5 Blister Charm Collection, featuring characters like Woody and Buzz Lightyear, will also launch in the fifth week of August for 400 yen per play.
