Bandhan Konnagar launches SETU summit for social development

Bandhan Konnagar hosted the inaugural SETU – India’s National Leadership Summit on Collaborative Social Development at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi. Under the theme ‘From Policy to Practice: Building Partnerships for Scalable Social Impact’, the summit serves as a national forum to address the integration of development goals across government, business, civil society, and academia.

The event brought together various stakeholders, including senior government representatives such as Kamlesh Paswan, Minister of State for the Ministry of Rural Development, and Arun Kr Pillai, CEO of the National Skill Development Corporation. Other key participants included Bandhan Group Chairman Chandra Shekhar Ghosh and Bandhan Konnagar CEO Sanjib Kumar Das, alongside CSR and ESG practitioners, philanthropists, and development experts.

SETU is designed as an ongoing national dialogue aimed at fostering linkages between policy, resources, and community needs. The initiative seeks to promote scalable and sustainable solutions by facilitating cross-sector discussions, sharing grassroots experiences, and conducting evidence-based impact studies to move social interventions from pilot stages to measurable national impact.
