Bandido retains ROH World Title against Kofi at AEW Grand Slam

AEW Grand Slam France Bandido Kofi ROH World Championship professional wrestling

Bandido successfully retained the ROH World Championship against Kofi during the AEW Grand Slam France event in Paris. The match featured high-intensity exchanges, including a suicide dive by Kofi and various aerial maneuvers from Bandido.

The finish of the contest was influenced by chaos at ringside. A confrontation between Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page created a distraction, allowing Bandido to capitalize. Bandido secured the victory by executing a 21-Plex to pin Kofi, marking Kofi’s first loss in All Elite Wrestling.

The outcome sets the stage for a future AEW World Trios Championship defense at the WrestleDream 2026 pay-per-view, where Kofi and his teammates are scheduled to face Bandido and Hangman Page.
