Bandit9 unveils (RED) 800 motorcycle featuring Ducati mechanics
Vietnamese company Bandit9 has introduced the (RED) 800, a limited-edition motorcycle that combines a futuristic, sculptural aluminum design with Ducati mechanics. Only nine units will be produced, each featuring hand-finished surfaces that transition from racing red to brushed aluminum.
The motorcycle is powered by a Ducati 821 cc V-twin Testastretta engine producing 110 hp and 89 Nm of torque. It features a steel tubular frame, Sachs suspension, and Brembo brakes, with a dry weight of 175 kg. Performance specifications include an acceleration from 0 to 96.5 km/h in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 201 km/h.
Developed in collaboration with the humanitarian organization (RED), the project serves a charitable purpose. For every unit sold at a price of $49,900, $14,000 will be donated to (RED) to support the fight against AIDS and other preventable diseases.
