Bandol launches inaugural street art festival

The town of Bandol is launching its first edition of ‘Bandol Street Art’ from October 27 to 30. The event aims to integrate urban art into the identity of the seaside town by bringing contemporary creation into daily life.

As part of the festival, three artists—Steve Gerard (Soen), Guillaume L’Hérisson (Wan Abime), and Frank Pireyre (Rest4)—will collaborate to create a large-scale mural on the wall of the local tourist office. The performance will allow passersby to observe the creative process as the work takes shape.

The initiative also includes community engagement, such as a creative workshop for children organized with Bandol Jeunes on the afternoon of October 29. This inaugural mural is intended to serve as the foundation for an expanding artistic circuit that will feature regular artist visits during various seasonal events and holidays.
