Bandırma local associations and transport officials report seasonal updates

In Bandırma, the Bird Lovers and Breeders Association held its 2026-2027 season opening ceremony. During the event, breeders who achieved success in the 2025-2026 federation competitions were awarded plaques. Association President Ahmet Durmuş reported that members won a total of 61 medals across four different federation competitions last year and expressed goals to maintain this success in the upcoming season.

Separately, Levent Oral, Deputy Chairman of BANSER, addressed rising economic pressures facing the service transportation sector following the start of the new academic year. Oral highlighted that increasing diesel prices, maintenance, insurance, and spare parts costs are significantly impacting operators. He called for adjustments to tax brackets to reflect the actual income structure of tradespeople and urged the Ministry to expedite the construction of the Hastane Junction to alleviate local traffic congestion.
