Bands from Três Lagoas and Bonito win awards at state championship

Municipal bands from Três Lagoas and Bonito achieved multiple victories at the 2026 Mato Grosso do Sul State Championship of Bands and Fanfares, organized by the State Federation of Bands and Fanfares (FEBAFAMS).

In Três Lagoas, the Cristo Redentor Marching Band secured first place in the Youth category, while the Cristo Redentor Musical Band took first place in the Senior category. Individual honors were also awarded to baton twirlers Maria Isabelly da Silva Quirino and Mariana Brito Baldo, who both placed first in their respective categories.

Representing Bonito, the Municipal Band earned three trophies during the competition held in Dourados. The group achieved first place in the Baton category and the Choreographic Corps category, as well as third place in the Musical Corps category.
