Bandung Barat Regent supports thematic village economic development

During the kickoff of the 2026/2027 Village League in West Bandung, Regent Jeje Ritchie Ismail expressed support for the Ministry of Villages and Disadvantaged Regional Development’s initiative to develop thematic and export villages.

Ismail noted that the region possesses significant potential in agriculture, horticulture, livestock, tourism, and MSMEs. He emphasized that synergy between central and local governments, the private sector, and the community is essential to increase the competitiveness of village products and access global markets.
