Bandung DPRD official supports inmate ecopreneurship program

Radea Respati Paramudhita, Chairperson of Commission I of the Bandung City DPRD, expressed appreciation for a community service initiative led by the Faculty of Economics and Business at Widyatama University. The program, titled ‘Ecopreneurship Based on Household Plastic Waste Recycling as an Effort to Empower Inmate Economy,’ was held at the Bandung Class IIA Women's Prison.

The initiative aims to enhance the skills, creativity, and economic independence of female inmates by transforming household plastic waste into products with economic value. Paramudhita emphasized that empowerment requires more than technical training; it necessitates an ecosystem that connects training and product development to effective marketing to ensure tangible economic benefits for the inmates.
