Bandung security: DPR RI visits naval base and police conduct riot drills

Members of Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) conducted a working visit to the Bandung Naval Base (Lanal Bandung) to discuss maritime defense and the development of maritime potential. Led by Utut Adianto, the delegation met with Commander Erfan Indra Darmawan to review the base's role in supporting national defense and to identify field obstacles regarding fishing communities and maritime security.

In a separate security exercise in Bandung, 1,259 personnel from the police, military, and various regional agencies participated in a City Security System (Sispamkota) simulation. Led by Bandung Police Chief Kombes Pol. Dedi Supriyadi, the drill focused on riot control and contingency handling. The exercise included a Tactical Floor Game to coordinate cross-sectoral responses and ensure rapid, measured actions during public disturbances.
