Banesa Adamopoulou discusses fame, self‑knowledge in new Gala interview

Greek singer Banesa Adamopoulou gave an extensive interview to the latest issue of Gala magazine, speaking with journalist Penelope Masouri about how fame functions in an artist’s life. She said that fame depends on when it arrives, a person’s age, experiences and personal journey, and that it requires silence so the artist is not overwhelmed by noise.

Adamopoulou emphasized that recognition only has value when it serves truth and art. She described self‑knowledge as the most difficult task, likening it to a one‑way street, and urged acceptance of all the complex, sometimes dark, aspects of one’s subconscious as the key to inner balance.
