Banesco launches 2026 seed capital program for entrepreneurs

Banesco Banco Universal has launched the fifth edition of its 'Presupuesto Participativo para Emprendedores 2026'. The call for applications began on September 5 and will remain open until October 4.

Winning entrepreneurs will receive non-reimbursable seed capital in bolívares, equivalent to approximately 4,166 USD. To be eligible, applicants must be certified by the Programa de Formación de Microempresarios and have a legally constituted business.

The program distributes awards across three specific regions in Venezuela: the Capital-Central region, the Oriental-Guayana-Los Llanos region, and the Occidental-Los Andes region.
