Banff National Park offers free admission through September 7

Banff National Park is offering free admission to visitors through September 7. This initiative is part of the Canada Strong Pass, which waives entry fees for all national parks, national historic sites, and national marine conservation areas operated by Parks Canada.

In addition to free admission, the program includes a 25 per cent discount on fees for camping and overnight stays. After September 7, visitors will need to purchase a Park Pass, available in both daily and annual discovery formats.

Visitors to the Canadian Rockies during the autumn season can expect changing foliage, with larch needles turning gold in late September and aspen trees displaying colors through October. The peak period for fall colors is typically between September 20 and October 5, though weather in the region can be unpredictable during this time.
