Bang Chan of Stray Kids donates 200 million won to humanitarian causes

Bang Chan, a member of the South Korean boy group Stray Kids, has donated 200 million won to support humanitarian causes. JYP Entertainment announced on September 19 that the contribution was split equally between two organizations.

One 100 million won portion was directed to the Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital to assist in establishing specialized rehabilitation centers tailored to the age and specific medical needs of patients. The remaining 100 million won was donated to the UNICEF Korea Committee to aid recovery efforts for communities affected by severe flooding in Nepal.

Through his agency, Bang Chan expressed his desire to ‘offer a little comfort to those who are going through difficult and exhausting times,’ adding that he hopes those affected can return to their daily lives as soon as possible.
