Bang Chan sets KOMCA record for most song credits by an idol

Bang Chan, leader of the K-pop group Stray Kids, has become the idol with the most song credits registered with the Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA). With 243 credited songs, he surpassed the previous record of 240 held by former VIXX member Ravi.

Following the news, Bang Chan addressed fans via the Bubble platform, requesting that they do not make a “big deal” out of the achievement. He expressed a desire for privacy regarding the milestone and stated that the numbers are not important to him. He also shared candid feelings of embarrassment, noting that while he has written many songs, he feels he has yet to produce a “big hit” and expressed a drive to create better music.
