Bang & Olufsen appoints Gianfilippo Testa as new CEO

Bang & Olufsen has appointed Gianfilippo Testa as its new CEO. Testa succeeds Kristian Teär, who stepped down in January following a board decision regarding the need for new leadership.

Testa brings extensive experience from the luxury sector, having held significant roles at LVMH brands such as Fendi and Kering brands including Gucci and Alexander McQueen. His transition from high fashion to premium consumer electronics aligns with Bang & Olufsen’s focus on combining advanced technology with high-end design. The appointment comes as the Danish company navigates a period of transformation, following a 2025/2026 fiscal year where revenues reached 2.5 billion Danish kroner.
