Bang & Olufsen introduces Woolscape textile finishes for Beosound A9

Bang & Olufsen has expanded its collaboration with Danish textile manufacturer Kvadrat to introduce Woolscape for the Beosound A9 speaker. The new textile material was developed through a joint project involving Kvadrat Febrik and the Swedish design duo Front.

The collaboration aims to integrate nature-inspired textures, structures, and colors into the iconic speaker design. The new finishes include Sienna Brown, which features a deep brown shade on both the speaker body and the brushed aluminum legs, and Woolscape Mineral Red, which utilizes four complementary tones to create a rich chromatic effect.

Designed by Front, the textile patterns were created by 3D scanning and photographing natural elements from Swedish forests, snowy landscapes, and lakes, translating them into a double-knit fabric intended to balance acoustic precision with tactile aesthetic appeal.
