Bengaluru Garage Fire Destroys Over 20 Luxury Cars Worth Crores

A massive fire erupted in the early hours of Monday at a car garage in Bengaluru's Thanisandra district. The blaze quickly spread through oil and other flammable materials, destroying more than 20 high‑end vehicles, including Range Rovers, Audis, Jaguars and other luxury models, with an estimated value of several crores of rupees.

The fire also engulfed a nearby shed, damaging eight autorickshaws and causing damage to an adjoining factory. Fire and emergency services deployed five fire engines and fought the flames for over two hours, preventing the fire from reaching adjacent structures. No injuries or fatalities were reported. Preliminary police inquiries point to a possible electrical short circuit as the cause, and the incident falls under the jurisdiction of the Sampigehalli Police Station.

Authorities have begun clearing the wreckage and informing owners of the destroyed vehicles while a full investigation continues.
