Bangalore leads Raksha Bandhan gifting surge in India, 2025 data shows

Ferns N Petals (FNP) analysed its 2025 Raksha Bandhan orders and found Bangalore was the top city, placing about 7 % more orders than Delhi. The busiest ordering day was August 8, the day before the festival, with the peak hour at 8 PM. Rakhi combined with chocolates remained the most popular gift, and the premium “Meenakari Marvel Rakhi with Chocolate Joy” was the highest‑priced item, with over 24 sisters spending more than ₹12,000 each.

The longest single delivery travelled nearly 13,000 km to the United States, reflecting strong international demand. The United States and Canada topped the list of overseas destinations for Indian customers sending Rakhi abroad. The report highlights a trend of last‑minute ordering and a growing reliance on FNP’s cross‑border delivery network.
