Bangchak Corp posts 12.2‑trillion baht profit in Q2 2026, boosted by commercial SAF launch
Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited reported Q2 2026 revenue of 183.6 billion baht, up 29% from the previous quarter. EBITDA rose 46% to 25.97 billion baht and net profit of the parent company jumped 99% to 12.24 billion baht.
The quarter was driven by the commercial launch of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Production began in May 2026, averaging 6.8 kbd and delivering 39 million litres, generating positive EBITDA and creating a new profit engine for the group.
Bangchak also completed the acquisition of Chevron Hong Kong Limited’s assets on 30 June 2026. The transaction, effected through Bangchak Hong Kong Holding Limited, created Bangchak Hong Kong Limited, which will operate 31 fuel stations, storage facilities and a jetty in Hong Kong, marking the company’s first retail expansion abroad.
Management noted that while the results are strong, ongoing energy‑price volatility and geopolitical risks could affect performance for the remainder of the year.
