Bangchak Group partners with KMITL for 2026 innovation expo

Bangchak Group has announced its role as a primary partner for the ‘KMITL EXPO 2026 – Ladkrabang Exhibition 2026’, held from September 1–6, 2026, to celebrate the 66th anniversary of King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL).

Under the theme ‘From Lab to Life’, the partnership aims to bridge the gap between laboratory research and practical application. Bangchak will host an exhibition titled ‘From Bio Molecules to Future Mobility’, showcasing the company’s development of bioenergy solutions. This includes low-carbon fuels such as Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Green Diesel HVO, and B24 Marine Biofuel.

Notably, Bangchak will provide 1,000 liters of domestically produced Green Diesel HVO for use in event shuttle vehicles, marking the first time this fuel has been utilized in such a capacity in Thailand. Chaiwat Kowavisarach, CEO of Bangchak Group and a KMITL alumnus, was also honored as one of the ‘KMITL Next 100’ distinguished alumni during the event.
