Bangers Open Air announces Brazilian metal acts for 2027 edition

The Bangers Open Air festival has announced the addition of three Brazilian metal bands to its 2027 lineup: Claustrofobia, Tuatha de Danann, and Taurus. This announcement brings the total number of confirmed artists to 14.

The fifth edition of the festival is scheduled to take place on April 24 and 25, 2027, at the Memorial da América Latina in São Paulo. The event aims to showcase both international acts and the diversity of the Brazilian heavy metal and rock scene.

Claustrofobia, a death/thrash metal group, returns to Brazilian stages after an eight-year period spent in Las Vegas. Tuatha de Danann, a folk metal band from Minas Gerais, will celebrate over 30 years of career during the event. Taurus, a long-standing thrash metal band from Rio de Janeiro, will perform as part of their 1985 retrospective tour. General ticket sales for the festival opened on September 4 through the Clube do Ingresso platform, and the full lineup is expected to be revealed in November.
