The intense heat caused significant structural damage, leading to the partial collapse of the building's roof, awnings, and interior structures. While the fire was brought under control by late night, it reportedly flared up again during the early morning hours.

At least 11 people were injured in the incident, including one volunteer firefighter reported to be in critical condition due to smoke inhalation. No fatalities have been confirmed.

Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt and Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul visited the site to assess the damage. Authorities noted that while the cause is still under investigation, arson appears unlikely. Investigators are also examining the potential role of stored batteries and the building's safety systems. Environmental concerns regarding air quality, specifically high levels of PM2.5 and VOCs, were also noted in the aftermath.
