Bangladesh Cabinet expanded with six new ministerial appointments

Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has expanded his Cabinet, appointing four new ministers and two state ministers. The new appointees took their oaths at a ceremony held at Bangabhaban in Dhaka.

The four new ministers include Abdul Moyeen Khan, Andaleeve Rahman Partho, Sa Ching Prue Jerry, and Rashiduzzaman Millat. Additionally, Humayun Kabir and Mohammad Shamim Kaiser Lincoln were appointed as state ministers.

The ceremony was presided over by the newly elected 23rd President of Bangladesh, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, who administered the oaths at the Darbar Hall. This restructuring comes approximately six months after Prime Minister Rahman initially formed the government in February.
