Bangladesh HP defeats New Zealand A by 23 runs

Bangladesh High Performance (HP) XI defeated New Zealand A by 23 runs in the Top End T20 Series held in Darwin. After being sent in to bat, Bangladesh posted a total of 181 for 5 in their 20 overs.

Ariful Islam led the batting effort with 71 runs off 48 balls, while Sabbir Rahman contributed an unbeaten 62 from 36 deliveries. In response, New Zealand A reached 158 for 8, failing to maintain the required scoring rate during the chase.

Ripon Mondol was the standout bowler for Bangladesh, taking 3 wickets for 27 runs. The victory moves Bangladesh HP back to the top of the series points table.
