Bangladesh Junior Scholarship Examination scheduled for 8-15 December

The schedule for the 2026 Junior Scholarship Examination in Bangladesh has been released, with testing set to begin on 8 December and conclude on 15 December. The examination, which will be held simultaneously across the country, has been moved forward from its original tentative window of 15 to 20 December.

Class 8 students will be tested on four subjects based on the national curriculum. The schedule is as follows: Bangla on 8 December, English on 10 December, Mathematics on 13 December, and both Science and Bangladesh and Global Studies on 15 December. All exams will take place from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Scholarships will be awarded based on a total of 400 marks. Bangla, English, and Mathematics will each be worth 100 marks, while Science and Bangladesh and Global Studies will be worth 50 marks each.

Candidates are required to follow several instructions, including arriving at examination centers at least 30 minutes early and collecting admit cards from their respective school heads at least seven days prior to the start date. Electronic devices, including mobile phones, are strictly prohibited in the examination centers.
