Ariful Haque Chowdhury, the Minister for Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment and Labor and Employment, has announced that the government will provide financial assistance to ensure meritorious students from poor and destitute families can complete their higher education. Speaking at events in Sylhet, the Minister emphasized that no talented student should have their dreams halted due to a lack of funds, including those seeking admission to foreign universities.
In addition to educational support, the Minister highlighted government initiatives to improve the welfare of workers. This includes medical assistance for workers who are ill or injured in accidents. The Bangladesh Workers' Welfare Foundation is actively distributing financial aid to affected workers and their families.
