Bangladesh PM Tariq Rahman's first visit to China set for June 24‑26

Bangladesh Prime Minister Tariq Rahman will make his first official trip to China from June 24 to June 26 after being invited by Chinese Premier Li Qiang. During the visit, President Xi Jin‑ping, Premier Li and NPC Chairman Zhao Leji are scheduled to meet the Bangladeshi leader to discuss bilateral relations, cooperation on the Belt‑and‑Road Initiative and shared regional concerns.

The agenda also includes Rahman's participation in the 17th Summer Davos Forum in Dalian. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said the visit is an opportunity to deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership, expand high‑quality collaboration, and coordinate positions in multilateral affairs.
