Bangladesh Shishu Academy celebrates 50th anniversary

Prime Minister Tarek Rahman attended a special event at the Bangladesh Shishu Academy in Dhaka to celebrate the institution's 50th anniversary and Child Rights Day 2026. The event, themed ‘Secure Future for Children’, focused on protecting children's rights and ensuring a safe childhood.

During the celebration, the Prime Minister engaged with children through cultural performances, presented them with commemorative gifts, and unveiled a special souvenir titled ‘Shaishob’. He also participated in video conferences to speak directly with children from various remote parts of the country to hear their dreams and expectations.

In addition to the commemorative activities, the Prime Minister inspected an exhibition of children's artwork and a photo gallery. The program concluded with the official inauguration of a new solar panel system and substation located at the ground floor of the Shishu Museum building.
