Bangladesh weather alert: Stormy winds and thunderstorms forecast

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has issued weather warnings for several regions, forecasting rain and thunderstorms across much of the country, including Dhaka.

River ports in multiple regions, including Jessore, Kushtia, Pabna, Faridpur, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, and Cox's Bazar, have been advised to display signal number 1 due to the risk of gusty or stormy winds reaching speeds of 45 to 60 kilometers per hour.

In Dhaka, skies are expected to remain partly to fully cloudy with potential rainfall and a slight decrease in daytime temperatures. Recent temperature records for the capital show a minimum of 26.1 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 32.8 degrees Celsius.
