Bangladesh weather forecast predicts rain and thunderstorms

A low-pressure system in the northwest Bay of Bengal is expected to bring rain and thunderstorms across various regions of Bangladesh. The meteorological department forecasts light to moderate rainfall in many areas of the Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions, with some parts of the Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, and Barisal divisions also experiencing intermittent showers accompanied by gusty winds.

In some locations, heavy to very heavy rainfall is possible. This weather pattern may lead to a slight decrease in both day and night temperatures, potentially reducing the recent heat sensation. Additionally, gusty or stormy winds reaching speeds of up to 60 km/h have been predicted in six regions, prompting a signal number one warning for relevant river ports.
