Bangs trends return with emphasis on natural textures

Hairdressing trends are shifting away from highly structured, precise styles toward more natural, effortless looks, marked by the resurgence of various bang styles.

Key trends include the curtain bangs, the bottleneck style—which is shorter in the middle and gradually lengthens toward the sides—and the bold micro bang. The Birkin bang, inspired by the iconic style of Jane Birkin, is also seeing a revival. This specific look is characterized by its airiness, lack of perfect symmetry, and a length that typically falls around the eyebrows to frame the face.

Experts suggest that rather than strictly following face-shape rules, the success of a bang style depends on hair texture, density, growth patterns, and the individual's willingness to maintain the look. While some styles like micro bangs require more frequent trimming, others like the Birkin or curtain bangs offer a way to change a look without sacrificing overall hair length.
