Banijay Entertainment completes $8 bn merger with All3Media, forming world’s largest independent producer

Banijay Group and RedBird IMI have completed the merger of Banijay Entertainment and All3Media, creating a combined entity called Banijay Entertainment. The $8 billion deal, announced in March 2026, was finalized on 9 July 2026 and establishes the firm as the world’s largest independent production company.

The new company will be jointly owned 50 % by Banijay Group and 50 % by RedBird IMI and will be headquartered in London. Jeff Zucker, CEO of RedBird IMI, becomes chairman, Marco Bassetti remains CEO and former All3Media chief Jane Turton is appointed deputy CEO. The merged operation spans 25 territories, holds a catalog of more than 265,000 hours of content and includes flagship formats such as MasterChef, The Traitors, Big Brother, Peaky Blinders and Survivor.

Banijay Entertainment projects 2025 revenues of over €4.3 billion and adjusted EBITDA of more than €0.7 billion on a pro‑forma basis, with expected cost synergies of roughly €50 million to be realised within the first year. Shareholders of Banijay Group will receive a special dividend of €0.93 per share. Executives emphasized the strategic importance of scale, with Jeff Zucker stating, “Scale is more important than ever,” and Bassetti noting the merger marks “a new era in global entertainment.”
