Zenica-Doboj Canton secures 600,000 KM for National Stadium project

The Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK) and the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina have signed an agreement to co-finance the main project for the National Stadium in Zenica. The ZDK government has secured 600,000 KM for this purpose.

This funding follows a previous contribution from the ZDK, which covered 50 percent of the costs for the initial conceptual project. The government will also provide 50 percent of the funding required for the main project phase.

Prime Minister Nezir Pivić stated that the agreement confirms the commitment to keeping the national home of Bosnian-Herzegovinian football in Zenica. The future stadium is intended to serve as the home for the national representative selections and will also remain the home of football club Čelik.
