Banja Luka and Vogošća launch entrepreneurship support programs

Local authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina are implementing programs to support entrepreneurs through education and financial assistance.

The Department for Economy and Local Economic Development of the City of Banja Luka is offering two free professional training sessions. The first session, scheduled for September 29–30, 2026, focuses on preparing for inspection controls, covering rights, obligations, and documentation. The second session, planned for October 13–14, 2026, aims to teach entrepreneurs how to participate in public procurement processes, including finding tenders and preparing electronic bids.

In Vogošća, the municipality has conducted business plan development training for candidates in its self-employment incentive program. This initiative helps participants transform business ideas into sustainable plans by analyzing markets, competition, and financial needs. Successful candidates may receive co-financing for starting their businesses, along with mentorship during their first year of operation and administrative assistance during the establishment process.
