Banja Luka experiences tourism growth and unseasonable warmth
Banja Luka is seeing a significant rise in tourism, with visitors arriving from various international locations, including Japan, China, Slovenia, and Germany, as well as neighboring regions like Zagreb. Local businesses, including restaurants and souvenir shops, report increased activity driven by interest in traditional cuisine and historical landmarks such as the Kastel Fortress and the Ferhadija Mosque.
In addition to the tourism trend, the city is experiencing unseasonably warm weather for late October. On October 20, temperatures reached approximately 23 degrees Celsius, leading to high attendance in outdoor cafe gardens even on a weekday. However, weather forecasts indicate a shift toward colder conditions, with temperatures expected to drop to 14 degrees Celsius by Thursday, accompanied by increased cloudiness, rain, and wind warnings.
