Banja Luka honors Goran Talić, long-time director of Zotović Institute

Banja Luka residents and officials gathered to honor Goran Talić, the long-time director of the ‘Dr. Miroslav Zotović’ Institute, following his sudden passing at age 67 on October 13.

A commemoration was held at the Banski dvor cultural center, attended by family, colleagues, and various officials from Republika Srpska. Talić was buried at the Sveti Pantelija cemetery, where a large number of citizens, friends, and associates gathered to pay their respects.

Talić graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Banja Luka in 1985 and specialized in orthopedic surgery and traumatology in Belgrade. He served as the director of the Institute ‘Dr. Miroslav Zotović’ from 2003 until his death, overseeing significant development for the health institution. He also earned a doctorate in biomedicine and health from the University of Mostar in 2016.
