Banja Luka installs book-shaped sculpture near university campus

A new art installation has been placed in a roundabout near the University of Banja Luka campus. The sculpture is designed in the shape of a book with several pages that appear to be blowing in the wind.

Banja Luka Mayor Drasko Stanivukovic announced the project, which aims to decorate the avenue connecting the National Theatre of Republika Srpska and the university. The pages of the sculpture feature spiritual and literary messages, including a quote stating, “There are no worse people than those who oppose the enlightenment and education of the people. Such people, if they could, would even extinguish the sun.”
