Banja Luka man arrested for fraud and theft in Laktaši

A man from Banja Luka, identified as P. I., has been arrested by police in Laktaši on suspicion of fraud and aggravated theft.

According to police reports, the suspect allegedly deceived a man from Laktaši on August 14 by accepting 500 KM for firewood that was never delivered. On August 15, the suspect reportedly entered the victim's home, taking advantage of the man's serious health condition, and stole an additional 3,000 KM.

Following the theft, the suspect was also detained in Banja Luka for violating public order and peace through indecent behavior. While a fine was issued for the misdemeanor, a report regarding the criminal charges of fraud and theft will be submitted to the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka.
