Banja Luka opens new Vrbas riverfront amid regional cultural events

Various cultural and community events are taking place across Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. In Banja Luka, the city has officially opened a new riverfront promenade along the Vrbas, extending the developed walking area to over six kilometers. The project includes an amphitheater, a summer stage, and over 100 newly planted trees.

In the same region, the Helsinki Parliament of Citizens Banja Luka celebrated its 30th anniversary of human rights advocacy with a regional panel titled ‘Women’s Vision of the Future’. Additionally, the OFF DUTY DAY event concluded in Banja Luka with a concert by Tijana Bogićević.

In Croatia, wine-focused festivities are prominent. The Blato Wine Experience is being held on Korčula, featuring wine tastings, gastronomy, and ceramic workshops. In Zagreb, the Wine Days program includes workshops at the Esplanade Hotel focusing on the Plešivica wine region. Meanwhile, Podcrkavlje is hosting its 17th Rakijada, a traditional event celebrating plum brandy (šljivovica) and local folklore.
