Banja Luka parents protest childcare price hikes amid new subsidies
In Banja Luka, parents are expressing concern regarding price increases at private extended childcare facilities following the implementation of government subsidies. While the first subsidy payments were issued on October 1, some facility owners have reportedly raised prices by as much as 100 KM.
Parents argue that these increases negate the financial relief intended by the subsidies. They are calling for transparency and requesting that providers do not use the new government support as a justification for unjustified price hikes, which they claim places an additional burden on families.
