Banjaluka police arrest Rajko Pavić for extortion

Rajko Pavić has been arrested in Banjaluka on suspicion of extortion. According to the Banjaluka Police Administration, Pavić allegedly used an alleged debt of 4,500 euros to coerce a citizen into surrendering an Opel Astra vehicle belonging to a third party.

Following the seizure of the vehicle, Pavić reportedly attempted to extort an additional 1,000 euros from the victim. The vehicle has since been recovered by police, and the case is under the supervision of the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Banjaluka.

Pavić has an extensive criminal history, including previous arrests for physical assault and involvement in a kidnapping. He has also been convicted in connection with a shooting incident and was previously involved in an escape from the Banjaluka Penitentiary.
