Banjaluka to conduct mosquito spraying on September 1-2

The city of Banjaluka has scheduled a mosquito control operation to target adult mosquito forms on September 1 and 2. The treatment will be carried out by the company Eko-Bel, which holds a contract with the city.

The spraying is scheduled for evening and early morning hours. On September 1, treatments will occur between 19:30 and 22:30, covering areas such as Lazarevo I and II, Kumsale, Drakulić, Nova Varoš, and several other neighborhoods. On September 2, early morning spraying will take place from 05:00 to 06:30 in the City Center, Kočićev Venac, and near the Kastel fortress. A second evening session will run from 19:30 to 22:30, covering Borik, Novi Borik, and Zalužani, among others.

Local beekeepers are advised to take all necessary precautions to protect their bees during these specific timeframes. In the event of unfavorable weather conditions, authorities will provide timely updates regarding rescheduled dates.
