Bank Al-Maghrib issues commemorative coin for King Mohammed VI
Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM) has issued a commemorative silver coin to mark the 63rd anniversary of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. The coin has a face value of 250 dirhams.
The obverse of the coin features the effigy of King Mohammed VI, accompanied by inscriptions in Arabic and Tifinagh, as well as the year 2026 – 1448. The reverse includes an artistic representation of a ribbon adorned with a five-pointed star, the royal coat of arms, and the number 63. It also features festive arabesque motifs and the inscription of the anniversary in both Arabic and French.
Technically, the coin is composed of an alloy of 925 parts silver and 75 parts copper. It weighs 28.28 grams and has a diameter of 38.61 millimeters.
