Bank branch fire caused by short circuit in Argentina

A fire caused by a short circuit broke out at a central bank branch on 25 de Mayo Avenue during the night. Firefighters responded to reports of dense smoke and managed to extinguish the flames located behind the self-service terminals.

While the fire destroyed electrical panels, voltage stabilizers, an air conditioning unit, and furniture, no injuries were reported as the building was empty. The quick response prevented damage to ATMs and ensured that cash remained secure. Preliminary investigations suggest the combustion originated in the wiring near the main electrical panel.
