PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk and MUFG Bank, Ltd. (Jakarta Branch) have proposed PT Bank MUFG Danamon Tbk as the official name for their integrated banking entity. The proposal includes a new logo, which will be implemented once the integration receives formal approval from shareholders, relevant ministries, and regulatory authorities.

The integration, which was first announced on May 11, 2026, follows the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Regulation Number 41/POJK. 03/2019 regarding bank mergers and integrations. The move aims to combine Danamon’s 70-year local experience in Indonesia with MUFG’s global network and expertise.

Currently, both institutions continue to operate as separate entities. There are no immediate changes to operational activities, products, services, operating hours, or the existing office network. Customers can continue to use all financial products and services as usual during this transition period.
