Dewata Challenge Series 2026 to feature Bali United, Persib, and Sabah FC

The Dewata Challenge Series 2026, an international preseason football tournament, is scheduled to take place from August 13 to 18, 2026, at the Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium in Gianyar, Bali. The competition will feature Indonesian Super League clubs Bali United and Persib Bandung, alongside Malaysian Super League side Sabah FC.

Persib Bandung has announced it will conduct a training center in Bali starting August 11 to prepare for the tournament. The club is set to face Sabah FC on August 15 and Bali United on August 18. Persib coach Igor Tolic noted that the matches against competitive opponents like Sabah FC and Bali United are intended to improve player communication and serve as a final selection process for the team's foreign players.
