Bank Indonesia reports Rp73 trillion investment interest at Pamor Borneo 2026

Bank Indonesia in South Kalimantan reported investment interest totaling Rp73 trillion following the Pamor Borneo 2026 Investment Forum held in Banjarmasin from August 7-9, 2026. The forum engaged 20 domestic and international investors, resulting in the issuance of 12 Letters of Intent (LoI).

Haris Munandar, Head of the Bank Indonesia Representative Office for South Kalimantan, stated that the forum aimed to strengthen the regional economy of Kalimantan by increasing investment, enhancing the competitiveness of MSMEs, and accelerating the digitalization of payment systems.

As part of the economic transformation efforts, the bank also focused on expanding the acceptance of the QRIS digital payment system. To recognize efforts in promoting digital payments, the title of “Bunda QRIS Kalimantan Selatan” was awarded to Fathul Jannah, Chairperson of the South Kalimantan Dekranasda, for her role in increasing QRIS utilization among the public and businesses.
